Registered Users

– Keywords used in search queries
– Text conversations with the PinPet administrator via the contact form
– Comments posted in designated sections of the app
– Contacts added to the in-app address book
– Listings added to your watchlist.

Advertisers

Oglašivač An advertiser is any individual who has registered on the PinPet website or mobile application for the purpose of advertising or posting listings. Advertisers, as registered users, may have the following data collected and processed:
– Full name
– Email address
– Phone number
– Descriptions and photos of pets or items for sale
– Listings posted and promoted via paid services
In the case of promoted listings, we may collect payment-related data such as:
– Transaction reference
– Bank name
– Bank account number etc.

All personal data mentioned above is collected and processed to fulfill the legal obligation of clearly identifying advertisers, as required by the Advertising Law of the Republic of Serbia.

In addition to the above, while using the PinPet website and mobile application, we may collect and process data about the devices you use to access our services. This may include:

• Device brand and model
• Operating system and version
• Unique device identifiers
• Network information

While using the PinPet mobile app, we may also collect and process location data via technologies such as your phone’s GPS sensor.

2. Purpose of Data and Information Collection

We may collect and process users’ personal data for various purposes:

• User Identification – This is carried out through the creation of a user account and is necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of certain PinPet features, such as posting listings and communicating with other users via the in-app comment system.
• Publishing and Archiving Listings – Collecting data about pets and items advertised in the mobile application (e.g., descriptions and photos of pets and/or pet-related items and equipment) is essential for the proper operation of the PinPet website and mobile app, and for providing the core service we offer to users.
  To ensure that our core service remains high-quality and free of charge, we collect data that enables efficient functioning of all site features, such as posting and searching listings, communicating with other users, automatic password saving, etc.
  Since the core service is free for users, PinPet generates revenue through subscriptions and advertisements shown to users. To display relevant ads, we may use location data, cookies, and other related technologies that help identify the user’s internet browser.
• Offers from Business Partners and Related Companies – PinPet may offer users the opportunity to purchase products and services from partner companies under privileged conditions. To enable access to these benefits, we may request your explicit consent to share your personal data—such as name, phone number, and email address—with our partner companies.

3. Use of Personal Data and Information

We collect and process personal data strictly in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia, for the purpose of providing information society services, protecting our legitimate and business interests, improving our services and user experience, safeguarding user interests, maintaining user security, and preserving public interest and safety.

Data about pets and other items advertised through the PinPet website and mobile application helps us prevent the publication of inappropriate or explicit content, as well as the advertisement of illegal goods and services. Text conversations with the PinPet administrator help us introduce new features and improve existing ones. Additionally, if a user posts a large number of listings at once, posts inappropriate content, places listings in the wrong category or group, or harasses other users through messages or other means, our security software mechanisms may automatically block the user’s account, move the listing to the appropriate category or group, or take other necessary actions.

Your personal data is stored in databases and on servers protected by modern security technologies. We continuously implement data protection measures, including advanced operational procedures, the use of up-to-date security technologies, and physical security measures for servers and other equipment. We will retain your personal data for a maximum of 30 days after your account is deleted, unless a specific law requires a longer retention period (e.g., 30 days for personal data collected from advertisers, 2 years for user complaint records).

4. Ways Personal Data and Information may be shared

The data and information we collect from our Visitors, Registered Users, or Advertisers may be shared and/or disclosed in the following situations:
– Aggregate Information – We may share aggregate data that does not include personal information and may otherwise disclose non-personalized data and log information to third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other purposes.

All users of our services are guaranteed the following rights under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Republic of Serbia:

• Right to Information – Users have the right to access information at any time regarding the purpose of collecting and processing personal data on the PinPet website and mobile application. Each user has the right to review the personal data collected and request that all stored personal data be provided in accordance with applicable laws.
• Right of Access – Every user has the right to access their personal data and verify whether it is being processed and whether such processing is lawful.
• Right to Rectification – Users have the right to correct inaccurate personal data at any time, withdraw previously given consent for data processing, and request deletion of personal data. Exceptions to this right exist when modification or deletion may hinder criminal investigations, prosecution, or civil and legal claims.
• Right to Erasure – Users may request that we delete their personal data and cease further processing. After such a request, the PinPet administrator will inform the user of the legal consequences of deletion and consent withdrawal, which may include the inability to continue using the PinPet website and mobile application.
• Right to Restrict Processing – Users may request that the PinPet administrator restrict the processing of their personal data. Exercising this right may result in the inability to continue using PinPet services.

In the event of a personal data breach that may pose a risk to the user, the user will be notified without delay.

If a user believes their rights have been violated, they may file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

6. Collection of Personal Data from Minors

The services of the PinPet website and mobile application are not intended for minors. PinPet does not knowingly or intentionally collect personal data from minors. If parents or guardians become aware that their child has provided personal data without their consent, they should contact us via the website’s contact form. If the administrator detects that a minor has submitted personal data, we will delete it from our databases.
