How the PinPet app was created?
“I still vividly remember the moment the idea came to me…
Lady, an elderly female beagle whom I had rescued from the streets along with her puppies two years earlier, suddenly disappeared during our regular walk. At first, I wasn’t seriously worried—Lady was an older dog, a bit chubby, with heart issues, so she couldn’t have wandered off too far.
But, when she didn’t return after ten minutes, I began to panic. A swarm of thoughts raced through my mind… Maybe she fell into a hole? Maybe she got tangled in some bushes and couldn’t get out? Maybe she just followed a scent and would be back soon…
Minutes turned into hours, hours into days, days into months—and there was no sign of Lady. I posted daily on social media, printed and hung posters around the neighborhood, searched every inch of the area, spoke to friends and strangers alike—but nothing. Lady never came home…
Although a lot of time has passed since that painful event, I still remember the feeling. It’s hard to describe such a mix of emotions—and even harder to endure them. It’s a bitter experience you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. I often wondered: Did someone see her? Would our story have had a happier ending if an app like this had existed back then?
There are many unknowns, but one truth remains—to a pet owner, a pet is never “just a dog”. For most owners, losing a pet is an emotionally devastating experience that brings stress, disappointment, anger, and guilt, all tangled with fear and anxiety.
That’s why the PinPet app was born! As a tribute to my Lady, and with the hope that no pet owner, and no pet, ever has to go through such trauma and loss again. Our pets deserve only the best, and that’s why we’ve added all the essential features for pets and their owners in the new version of the PinPet app.”

In less than 20 seconds, you can create and print (or share using social media and other messaging platforms) a poster with a photo of your lost pet.
In less than 10 seconds, you can create a profile for your pet—and in literally 1 second, you can receive a notification of where your pet was last seen.

We wanted to create a unique app designed for pet owners and all animal lovers. And we didn’t rely solely on our own experience—we combined knowledge, expertise, and feedback from veterinarians, pet behaviorists, trainers, and fellow pet enthusiasts to develop features that meet the needs of both owners and their beloved pets.
